The GNN Annual Event 2024 held on October 24th was a force for positive energy – it was the Networks first main event since Covid and there was much to celebrate and lots to participate in, including a lively debate around planned reforms to the NHS, led by Max Prangnell, Director of Communications and External Affairs for the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC).

Over 100 Good Neighbours from volunteer groups across Hampshire and beyond, were asked to respond to questions around three shifts to the healthcare system and these responses have already been passed on the Ten Year plan team at the Department of Health who are working on the reforms.

The event was sponsored by SGN and showcased the Home and Well Good Energy project that GNN is a part of. Other highlights included a gracious thank you to the volunteers from the Bishop of Portsmouth, followed by a most delicious lunch.
