CSR have teamed up with Church of England Diocese of Portsmouth Safeguarding Team for a ‘Safer Church’ poser competition.
As part of Safeguarding Sunday on 15 November, we’re inviting children and young people across churches and the community to get creative and design a poster showing what a Safer Church means to them.
This year’s theme is “Love Protects” and we want to hear young people’s ideas about what helps them feel safe, what safeguarding means to them, and who they can talk to if they’re worried or need help.
There are two age categories:
Children: up to Year 6
Young people: Years 7–11
Get your posters to the Safeguarding Team by the end of November and a panel of young people will then judge the entries during the first week of December! For more information, please contact the Safeguarding Team: safeguarding@portsmouth.anglican.org
Poster templates and promotional materials are available to download and print: https://lnkd.in/eHEHfTnu
Let’s give children and young people in the community a voice in creating safer, more welcoming churches for everyone!
