The rapid development programme (rdp) is a positive, opportunity-led approach to church growth.
Offering a far-sighted, challenging and fun programme for local parishes, deaneries, dioceses or faith based organisations considering their future and looking for 21st century ways to engage.
Approach
rdp uses adapted social/business development techniques to inspire participants to think in a focused, creative and sustainable way about their opportunities and offer along with potential role and priorities for growth.
Success is achieved through a workshop and shared learning platform, with on-going support and mentoring part of the formula.
We have successfully run the programme in over 20 parishes/contexts across four dioceses.

As part of the rdp process, CSR has led on a lottery bid application for a substantial engagement project at St Michaels, which if successful would see the church centered at the heart of community.
